A vision insurance policy is not the same as a health insurance policy. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear, contact lenses and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.
Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. Every plan varies by patient, so ultimately it is the patient’s responsibility to know their benefits. We will do our best to verify benefits prior to being seen at our office. Here are the plans that we accept:
Medical Plans We Accept
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Inquire about additional savings off our usual and customary exam fees if you are a AAA or AARP member and are either uninsured or have a plan that we do not currently accept.
Vision Plans We Accept
VSP (Out of network benefits)
In addition to personal checks and cash, we also accept payment via American Express, Visa and Mastercard.
